Answer:
Yes. Sony abCD is able to read DirectCD discs using its UDF driver. In version 1.3.129 and above, Sony abCD is now able to write to DirectCD pre-formatted discs. If the CD-RW is formatted for DirectCD but contains data, Sony abCD will act only as a reader driver for this disc. To write to the disc, you will need to quick-format the disc using Sony abCD before use.
