I have created a disc using Sony abCD and want to read it on another computer. When I put the disc in, Windows mounts it, but it only shows one file. This file says the disc was created using the UDF file system. What should I do?
Answer:
You should install Sony abCD onto the system. In the absence of a CD-RW drive, Sony abCD will act only as a UDF reader driver. Sony abCD discs are written in the UDF file system. Windows 2000 is the only Operating System that has UDF support built into it, so an Sony abCD disc can be read without the reader driver. However, Windows 95 & 98 do not have UDF file support, and thus Sony abCD's UDF system driver is necessary.
