Can Sony abCD discs be read on Windows 2000?

As of Sony abCD version 1.3.132, Sony abCD creates discs which can be natively read in Windows 2000. Due to this added support, Sony abCD discs created using this version and above (1.3.132 + up) cannot be read using previous versions of Sony abCD (1.3.129 + below). This new version is fully backward compatible with discs created using previous versions, however a disc must be reformatted using version 1.3.132 and above to be read natively by Windows 2000.
Please be advised that Sony abCD cannot be used on Windows 2000, even with the 1.3.132 version of the software. It is only compatible with Windows 95 & 98 systems. The above only implies that the discs created on another system can be read on a Windows 2000 system.
