When using Sony abCD, the software will not format a CD-RW disc. How can I fix this?
Answer:
This is a problem which was present in version 1.1.066 of Sony abCD. To resolve this issue, go to Device Manager, to CD-ROM's, and select your CD-RW. To fix the problem, go to the settings screen and uncheck the DMA check box. The later versions of Sony abCD do not have this problem.
