What should I do when my computer crashes in the middle of recording a CD?

The best thing to do is to reboot your computer. Once back in Windows, launch your recording software program and check to see if the disc is still usable. Most of the time, the disc will be ruined and you will have to toss it and use a new disc. If you happed to be using a CD-RW disc, just use the 'erase disc' function in your recording software to blank the disc and try again.
