How do I backup my data files to a CD?
By using your recording software program, you should be able to pick and choose what files you want to copy by clicking on the file(s) to highlight them. If you are using a program that provides you drive letter access recording ability, then drag and drop the files to the drive letter of the CD recorder that you are using. If the program you are using doesn't do drive letter access, then drag and drop the desired file(s) to the recording layout area within the program. Ideally, use a 'backup' software application that can automate things for you. You can typically specify certain files & folders that you want backed up regularly, and the back up software will automatically back them up as scheduled. Choose software that supports 'disaster recovery', which will create a boot up disk to restore your system after a fatal hard disk crash.
