Why do I get the following error when installing Sony abCD software? "The setup file is invalid, corrupted or a virus modified it?
Answer:
This error message can be caused by antivirus software or a dirty disc. Below are two solutions, one addressing each of these issues.
1) The error has been reported when the computer is running Windows 95/98. and Norton Antivirus. software. Please disable the Norton Antivirus. software and then install Sony abCD®.
2) If the user does not have the Norton Antivirus. program running, please try the following procedure: Copy the contents of the Sony abCD® installation disc on to the hard drive. Then run the installation directly from your hard drive and not the CD-ROM.
