Why can't I play my CD-R/RW recorded audio discs in my car, home or portable audio CD player?
In general, you will have greater success in reading CD-R audio discs than CD-RW discs. Most disc players are not sensitive enough to read CD-RW discs. Some older players may not be able to read CD-R audio either. Your best bet is to try different media from name brand manufacturers, and find the one that works best on your player. Also, check to see that you are recording the audio tracks properly. As a last resort if none of these attempts work, you may need a newer audio player.
