When I am encoding MPEG-2 files, neoDVD will sometimes freeze for long periods. Is this a crash?

Answer:

This is not a crash. neoDVD is simply dealing with a very complex file. Just be patient and wait, the file will be transcoded. If you think neoDVD has failed, please verify that the application in 'not responding' in the task manager before closing it, this will save you time on a re-encode.

Note: Before encoding MPEG-2 files, neoDVDstandard checks these files for DVD compliance. If the MPEG-2 file is DVD compliant it will be directly formatted into DVD format. If the file is not compliant it will be decoded and re-encoded.
