When trying to install MY DVD I recieve the following error, "A required .DLL file, MPGCHECK.DLL, was not found."
Answer:
There may be a problem registering DLLs on certain system during installation. To work around this issue, the contents of the 3 folders listed below need to be copied to the root of the MyDVD target directory.
46 files to be copied from:
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sonic Shared\Ligos\Decoders
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sonic Shared\Ligos\GoMotion
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sonic Shared\MainConcept
Copied To:
C:\Program Files\Sonic\MyDVD
10 files to be registered:
All of the .ax files need to be registered by dragging them into regsvr32.exe which is located at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE.
This issue is resolved in the MyDVD 4.0.3 installer
