Where can I play the discs I make?
Answer:
- DVD+RW, -RW, +R, and -R discs will play in most set-top players and DVD-ROM drives. A full list of qualified players is available on the MyDVD website.
- DVD-RAM discs will play in DVD-RAM drives and some recent DVD-ROM drives.
- CD-R and -RW discs will play in most CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives. This kind of disc is called a cDVD®. MyDVD places a free software player on the cDVD disc; the player should start automatically and play the contents when the disc is inserted in a Windows-based PC.
- At the time of writing, no set-top players can play DVD-RAM discs and only a very few models can play cDVD discs. It is possible that more players will become available in the future.
