What is DMA and why do I need to turn it on?
Answer:
Before you use MyDVD to capture video and audio, you must enable direct memory access (DMA) on your hard disk. This allows MyDVD to write to the disk much more quickly than if DMA is not enabled.
Different versions of Windows have different ways of enabling DMA. Please see the MyDVD manual for an explanation of how to do this.
