What is the "TV safe zone"?
Televisions display an image that is larger than the physical screen. This helps to hide distortion at the edges of the image, but it also means that part of the image cannot be seen on a television. The part of the image that can be seen is called the safe zone. MyDVD can indicate the safe zone in the Menu Editor. This lets you see how much of the menu will be visible on a television screen. For example, if you use a picture of your family as the menu background, you can make sure that nobody will be cut out of the picture.
