Error Message: vbv_delay underflow
Title
vbv_delay underflow
Description
While trying to transcode, MyDVD gives me and error: vbv_delay underflow
Symptom
MyDVD stops transcoding on error: vbv_delay underflow
Solution
MyDVD isn't fully recognizing your .avi files or they are corrupt. Try creating some small projects short video clips to shorten the transcoding process. You will want to make sure that your video is has a frame rate of 29.97. You can find this information about the clip when playing back in windows media player and selecting properties from the file menu. Also, try transcoding this file into MPEG2 before adding the file to a theme. If all else fails, try TMPGEnc to encode your .avi into MPEG-2. This will rewrite and bad header information or corruption that may be throwing off MyDVD. You can download the program at http://www.tmpgenc.net. Start the application, skip the intro screen and load the DVD NTSC/PAL templates by going to the lower right hand corner of the application window and pressing "load" button. Select the DVD NTSC/PAL (whatever your country uses or want to convert to) template. Now go back to the main screen and click "Setting." Make sure that the "Rate control mode" in the "Video" tab is set to CBR. Click "start" in the program application window. The program will then begin transcoding the video.
