I have Windows 2000 and I cannot uninstall the DLA software. Why?
Answer:
There is a compatibility issue with the Intel chipset driver and DLA. You will need to change the Intel driver to the standard Windows driver.
Go to:
- Right Click My Computer
- Choose Properties
- Choose Hardware
- Choose Device Manager
- Click the + in front of IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
- Double Click the Intel IDE Controller
- Click on the Driver Tab
- Choose Update Driver
- Choose Display a List..
- Choose Next
- Choose the Standard IDE Controller
- Click Next
- Make sure you reboot the system so the changes take affect
