How does the VRD-P1 DVDirect Express work?

If you have a DVDirect Express compatible Sony Handycam® camcorder, just connect your Handycam® camcorder to the VRD-P1 via the built-in USB cable and press the "Disc Burn" button on the VRD-P1 to burn video footages onto DVD discs without using a PC. The VRD-P1 can also be used to play the DVD discs it creates when connected with any DVDirect Express compatible Sony Handycam® camcorder. Simply connect the Sony Handycam® camcorder to your TV while the camcorder is still connected to the VRD-P1 via USB, and press the Play button on VRD-P1 to enjoy watching the DVD movies you created.
