What does Date/Time information on DVD menu mean? Is the shooting date/time indicated?

Date/Time information on the top of the display indicates the date/time recorded from Sony Handycam® camcorder to the DVD disc. Date/Time information under thumbnail indicates the date/time when the original video footages were recorded. In addition to that, the shooting date/time can be indicated on the subtitle when the disc is played with DVD-player/recorder or BD-player/recorder.
