Tape Drive Models:
Firmware update for Sony AIT-3 SCSI tape drive models SDX-700V, SDX-D700V, AITi260/S (based on SDX-700V) and AITe260/S (based on SDX-700V).
Firmware Update Instructions:
Requires the use of Sony Tape Tool to apply the device firmware update.
Please check Sony Tape Tool help or readme file for firmware upgrade instructions.
Download Instructions:
Left-click the attachment download link listed below.
Agree to the Sony License Agreement.
Select 'Save' and choose a folder or directory for the firmware file.
Change 'Save as Type' from TEXT DOCUMENT to ALL FILES.
Note: If Text Document is used for 'Save as Type', then a .txt extension is added to the file name during the file download. If a .txt extension is added to the file name after downloading, please rename the file by removing the .txt, leaving the original extension only.
