Sony Tape Tool (STT) for Windows Write/Read test may fail with "Write failed SKey, AscAscq 052400" if Removable Storage Manager (RSM) service is started while the Write/ Read test is running. To avoid this problem it is recommended to stop the RSM service before proceeding with the STT Write/Read test. To stop the RSM service, click on the Windows Start button, Settings, Control Panel. In Control Panel double-click on Administrative Tools, then double-click on the Services, then scroll down to Removable Storage service and Double-click to open. Click on Stop and then OK to close.
